Banger! Your ego is what will get you to do great things, not just normal shit.

This blog reminds me of my problem with "Don't be judgmental." You should be very judgmental about who you spend your time with, what you spend your money on, etc. You should be very judgmental as an artist and as a spectator. Have a viewpoint! Take a stance! Having no viewpoint is for fools and the fearful. Have the courage to make a judgment.

Now I think I have to write an essay about that, will post it on www.cyberpatterns.xyz when it's up.

Just subscribed to you, looking forward to reading more

Hey, just found your blog here and I like to read different viewpoints and think both you and Ryan Holiday have some valid points.

I just started my own substack, where I cover business, finance, mindset, but also: History, Philosophy, Exercise, Politics and Science - all applied to business to see how we can use our human knowledge to make a change and have a positive impact on the future.

I would love to connect with you over e-mail. Maybe we’ll find some common interests. I would also love you to write something as a guest writer, I would volunteer to do the same on your Substack. I’m always keen on making new friends and finding likeminded people.

Keep up the great work. 🙌

I think we agree on ideas but maybe not 100% on word definitions. I agree we should not blindly follow manipulators. The definition of the word humility that I personally use is the place between submission and conceit, although some dictionaries may disagree with me on that. It does seem that there should be a word or phrase to describe the middle ground between selfish and selfless. Maybe self-accurate or something similar. Thank you for this very thought-provoking article.

I would argue the right term for it would be a healthy ego.

Interesting point you make.
